Jonathan White

Managing Director

Jonathan has built up a wealth of sales and marketing experience over the last 20 years, focusing on the luxury hotel market. Having worked for various hotels groups, Jonathan went on to the Ritz Hotel in London and then to Forte/Le Meridien. Having left Forte as International Sales Director, Jonathan developed his luxury event experience and headed up the conference, banqueting and incentive division the Grosvenor House Hotel.  Workham was set up by Jonathan in 2003 and now provides sales and marketing representation to several unique and independent clients. Thanks to Jonathan’s key experience, Workham has grown steadily and successfully since those first years and now represents hotels, DMC;s and Residences in Italy, Greece, Spain, Hungary and the UK within the UK, Ireland and Scandinavian markets.

Emma Macfarlane

Marketing Manager

Emma launched her luxury hotel career at The Stafford Hotel in London from where she moved to the Virgin Group, specifically Necker Island and Limited Edition by Virgin. Emma then began offering sales and marketing consultancy services to key luxury travel companies in the UK, carving a niche in the luxury agency sales market and developing a strong database of key independent retail agents as well developing her marketing expertise. Emma has also worked for several top end travel companies in a sales and marketing capacity including Simpson Travel and Caribtours and managed key projects for various luxury hotel companies including The Stein Group, One & Only and Thanos Hotels. Emma has worked with Jonathan over the past 12 years to develop the company’s profile and the unique clients within the world of Workham.

Gary Boyer

Director of Partnerships

Gary has worked in travel since his twenties having previously worked for holiday companies both large and small. His approach to business is all about harmony, sound advice, enthusiasm and great team work. He just adores introducing great hotel people to the most influential of travel professionals here in the UK. Gary certainly understands our industry and knows what it takes to maximise business potential. Gary’s key experience comes from his twenty years plus as Head of Product for British tour operator, Classic Collection Holidays. During his time with Classic he lead a team, successfully curating a European wide product portfolio which also included favoured North African destinations: Egypt and Morocco. Under his guidance, Classic’s annual contribution towards hotel revenue moved from around £5 million to £60 million per year. He doesn’t like to talk about favourite destinations but his experience in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey is very extensive indeed.

Chris Jarvis – MICE consultant

Experienced DOSM-level professional with 25+ years in hotel sales across domestic and international markets. Proactive and results-oriented, skilled in maximizing revenue for multi-hotel brands. Extensive experience in regional, national, and international sales, including property sales and revenue management. Strong leadership abilities with a talent for team building and management. In-depth understanding of MICE and Corporate markets, boasting a substantial network in both sectors.

Renata Kazarnowicz


An accomplished linguist and accountant, Renata interspersed her accounting qualifications with language courses whilst working with several high profile companies in the UK. Renata has managed the accounts of recruitment companies, property developers and the Heineken Group and brings her wealth of experience to Workham to manage ensure the efficient and accurate tuning of the accounts department.

Jennifer Kerr – Director

Jennifer leverages her fashion design background and extensive marketing/PR expertise in managing operations and marketing for managed properties. Her multifaceted role includes overseeing operations, marketing, and interior design, showcasing her keen eye for design in the Workham ecosystem.

Joules White

Head of Paw-negotiations, Barketing Strategies, and Tail-wagging Initiatives. Responsibilities include sniffing out new business opportunities (and snacks), overseeing employee belly rub quotas, and ensuring that office morale stays as high as a well-thrown tennis ball. A master of the “pawsitive” attitude, this top dog keeps the team in line with a wag and a woof. No ruff days allowed under their watch, just plenty of tail-wagging enthusiasm and occasional nap time management.
